One of the reasons why many Christians don’t experience the supernatural on a regular basis is a tricky one. Most people don’t expect that this could be a reason. It is because they seek the supernatural too much. And they get all anxious and restless. They want to feel or experience something, in fact they want that more than they want God. The result and also the problem with that is that they end up living by sight again and never get out of that immature place, instead of walking by faith. I am not against experiences at all, in fact my entire Christian walk is characterized by them. Being „anti-experiences“ or always warning of experiences is another reason why many don’t really experience God, but that is not the one I chose to focus on here. The following stood out to me as I studied the Word of God:

Ich weiß, dass viele Leute sagen, man buchstabiert Glaube „R-I-S-I-K-O“ und ich verstehe dieses Konzept. Es gab eine Zeit in meinem Leben, in dem dieses Verständnis hilfreich war. Über die Jahre habe ich mich jedoch mehr und mehr davon entfernt. 
Mittlerweile glaube ich, dass man Glaube „R-U-H-E“ buchstabiert. Da ist kein Risiko. Ich bin in Christus, Christus ist in mir, und ich glaube alles was Er gesagt hat.

I know some people say “Faith is spelled R-I-S-K” and I understand that concept. There was a season in my life in which this understanding was very helpful to me. However, over the years I gradually moved away from it.
Now I believe Faith is spelled R-E-S-T. There is no risk. I’m in Christ, Christ is in me, and I believe every word He said.

HOW TO KNOW FOR SURE THAT YOU ARE SAVED 

Many people question their own salvation and are not 100% sure whether they are truly saved. I understand that the enemy wants to sow doubts into peoples lives so that some people who are saved may end up questioning their salvation. That is one side of the issue and you need to learn to live above the accusers voice. 

However, I believe we can also make the mistakes telling people “You are saved” when in fact it is much more important for an individual to have that inner witness of the Holy Spirit for themselves, instead of us trying to doctrinally convince them of something in order to get something into their heads.
